if the transmission is older than 98...its not going to have a vin plate

are you sure?? cause my b16 was 60mph@3000rpms in 5th. thats not a huge diff.
and at 80mph there is only 500rpm differece between this one and my b16 trans

well, my gsr tranny/final drive with ls 5th is just above 3k at 70

That sounds like a 'teg tranny. my B16 is like 3800 rpms at 70mph or so.

those with gsr trannies could you check your mph at 3000rpms in 5th. and 3000rpms in 4th thanks
