suspension on a budget recomendations
Firstly i would like to say i know this has probably been covered like ten bazillion times, but i would like to get some personal oppinions. Now i just raked in some grad money and im gonna lower my car. Im looking for somthing to get me a nice grip and handling but i dont want race proven performance. Someone at the huntsville honda meet said Koni's? Yes, no, maybe? what would be the best thing to get and where. Im not a name brand kinda guy, i really dont need all high performance exclusive stuff but i dont want it to be a piece of junk. Please help me out if you would. Oh and its for a '04 ep3
I'd go Koni yellow and lowering springs. Don't mess around with GroundControls for a daily driver, especially on an EP3. Too may issues with sleeved systems on that car.

Stock shocks will blow real fast and your ride will wont dampen roads bumps with stiffeness.
I'd get Tein S-Tech or Eibach Sportline w/ Koni Yellow. Tein's are real nice, had them in my past car.

i've had progess on my last rsx with stock shocks and they lasted a year until the wreck
i have sportlines now for over a year and the stock shocks are still good
not a bad life span at least for me, i'm waiting for them to blow so it can give me an excuse to upgrade to konis
