Everything. But for the ones who only care about hp.. 25 horse power in the USDM motors and 20 in in the JDM motors.

LOTS.....

But here is a quick few

Type R: GSR:

195 hp @8000 rpm 170 hp@7600 rpm
130 tq @7500 rpm 128 tq@6200rpm

2672 lbs 2529 lbs

No Sunroof option Sunroof option

10:6:1 compression ratio 10:1 compression ratio

This is just a very few I could think of. I am sure someone will chime in and give you more than that but at least that gives you an idea.

Best part about the Type-R is the tranny. Save yourself the money and get a GS-R and later on buy ITR pistons.

TYPE-R turns the best. That's what matters the most.

gsr

sunroof, 170hp, optional leather seats, 8.2k redline, 17mm swaybar, 4 lugger.

itr

no sunroof, nice black with red stiched interior, 8.6 redline, 22mm swaybar, 198hp, 5 lugger, wing, itr lip, comes in great colors (champ white, nhbp, sy)

in motors

gsr comes with 170hp, smaller cams, lower compression pistons
ITR comes with a light P&P head, higher compression, 4-1 header.

JDM ITR comes with a bump in compression resulting in a little bit more hp.

Talking about fuel cut-off, and not where the little redline starts.

ITR Chassis and shell is beefier than GS-R's. Handles much better as a result...

Download this pdf. It is Acura's take.

http://www.hondahookup.com/manuals/?file=type r_technical_guide.pdf

You may need to join the site. Acura makes some of the things on the ITR seem unique that are also on the GSR (i.e. the oil cooler, though Acura removed that from the GSR in 1997).

Helps to be correct then, because the P72 ECU cuts fuel at 8100 rpm.

We know that. The Helm supplement that I linked covers it all, but with a slight advestising twist (the manual suggests that an ITR crankshaft has additional counterweights to the GSR, when in reality the counterweights as just heavier on the ITR).
