!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Horse power and Torque Gains!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok guys, here is the story,- I have a 2002 V6 Accord, and I know that it is a little heavy, but nevertheless I am like any other car crazy guy, who wants to improve the performance of the car. So, here we go, I went ahead and put a brand new set of Headers, (DCSports), brand new catback exhaust (tanabe SHM), also I installed a cold air intake (AEM). Afterwards I can probably say that there is a slight horse power gains, but nothing that would make me go WOW about.
So now i'm thinking, what else could I do to make it go faster. I thought of Nitrous, but like many people said; at some point you will end up blowing your engine. (DO YOU AGREE THAT NITROUS IS NOT THE WAY TO GO?)
Now the supercharger is way too expensive, $3500-4000, for 40hp at wheels if i recall it right.
I know that manual tranny would make a difference as well but for that $4000
So Guys does anybody have any good ideas on what else I could do to the car that it would give respectable gains on its performance?????????
And also what about all those chips like Venom, do they do any good at all?

chips like the venom are useless imo, they do very little if anything at all... mostly they just trick the ecu by modifying sensor output to it. usually resulting is a tad bit more timing or trivial **** like that (esp. considering the cost of it).
anyways bang for the buck, I dont agree... nitrous is the way to go imo. yes you can damage components with the spray but honestly thats user error 99% of the time. the user is in control and if used properly you could run a decent shot quite safely. I did so for a year or so and the compression/ leakdown check was perfect afterwards. its not the nitrous kits fault something happens, it is just a tool... your the operator using that tool and its your responsibilty to do so properly.
this just requires paying attention to the rules of thumb for nitrous use... things like dont spray at low rpms, check timing and adjust according to shot size, no platinum plugs and pick appropriate heat range for your shot, etc.
there is also some inexpensive saftey devices you can install with the kit to make it even more fool proof. things like a fuel pressure safety switch, window switch, full throttle microswitch/ tps signal switch, etc.

You're in control? Do you mean that if nitrous is install with a push button? Because I heard that nitrous like Zex, shops install it the way where it activates it self at a certain rpm, so I think that that would probobly be the safest way to go, what do you think about it?
And for those who wish to see what happens if you activate nitrous below 2500rpm, here is the link have fun watching it

Yes, with a wot switch... not a push button... you are misunderstanding I guess.
When I say you are in control... it means just that. As in you are the vehicles owner/ operator, ultimately you are responsible for the decisions right? Not the nitrous kit.
It does not install itself and related parts, does not pick the jets sizes, does not decide when its used, etc... hopefully you get the idea.
