Looking to go with a full size aluminum radiator.
I've heard EP3 and I hear you can go with an RSX.

Car is a 95 VX and the motor is a k20a2 (2003).

Now I am reading the radiator is close to the intake manifold which will make the IM run hot. Also, a half size allows air in through the front bumper / open space to cool the motor. Looks like it will be half size dual core aluminum

You gotta think the EP and the RSX use a full radiator along with a condenser in front of it and run just fine. The extra coolant cooling capacity of the full radiator will help alot more than air running over the motor.

True, but how close is the radiator in those 2 versus an EG?

Doesn't matter. Once warm the intake will be much hotter than the radiator will get no matter the location. Go drive a B or D series Civic and feel the fins and the intake. The intake is over 150 degrees and the surface temp on the fins is around 120 or less. The radiator radiates the heat from the coolant right away and if it's cooler than the intake it won't cause any increase in temps on the intake. If you still had any concerns you could always use a hondata gasket and keep the temps down.
