i have a 91 civic hatchback with a b18 swap. i have a tenrai catback exhaust system, testpipe, and dc-sports header. my exhaust is extremely loud, and i keep getting pulled and have gotten a ticket. i need to try and quiet it down a little. does anyone know if i can find a silencer for the tip? could i use an apexi or hks, or is there a certain one i need? can someone help me with this problem, or tell me where to find one at?

 

Add a res of sorts like a glass pack, swap to a real highflow cat both will help.

My setup is alot less restictive then that and i never get hassled, then again my car sees around 20 miles a month lol.

 

i didnt really want to add a highflow cat or anythign i want to leave it like it is but maybe put a silencer in it i found some for hks and apexi just dunno if i kin put it in my tip.

 

get rid of the axleback you have now and get a good high flow chambered muffler. get a really nice long resonator and call it a day. should come down a lot

 

if you put a silencer it will sound like crap if you want a better tone/quieter sound i would pure a resinator or cat thats your best option
