Quiter exhaust- Apex WS or RS*R Ex-Mag?
The RS*R sounds just like stock. It's made of stailess steel and heat coated black on the B-pipe and muffler, only the tip of the muffler is chrome. The piping I believe is about 2.25". The 1/8" of an inch won't make any diff. in performance though.

Only at low rpm's.

they are both great performing exhaust systems and they are both under the 95db levels.
at that point i would say its up to the visuals. and both are very appealing.
so then its on to price, and wait, oh thats right they both average the same price.
realistically its up to you

bullshit that 1/4" wont affect performance. it all depends on your motor and its HP output. for a F22b1, 2.25" is fine, H22 range youre gonna want 2.5". the greddy and apexi make theirs in 60mm (2.36") which is right in the middle, perfect for both motors and beyond.
apexi and rs*r both have the chambered style muffler, just like stock. it is the quietest, but the most restrictive as far as performance. if you want quietness, get one of those. but i hope you dont live near the sea or have to drive the car in the winter, as the piping on both isnt stainless.

Usually you sacrafice some low end with larger cat-back piping, but you gain hp up top in your PB.
You could go with the 2 1/2 inch if you want HP (h22 alreay has pleanty) or the 2 1/4 for a little more torque.
But the diffrence will be very miniscule unless your building an all motor or running boost. I had a 2 1/2 inch catback with a 20in magnaflow resonator and muffler on my 200sx and it was kinda loud. It got to the point i just welded the stock muffler back on.. lol.

it all depends on the power output, bottom line. i recently installed a 2.5" collector to the end of my header after having crappy 2" piping from the header to the cat for over a year. the result was low end didnt suffer at all, but the high end rips it up. power doesnt taper off at all after 5k. h22 takes bigger gulps of air than a F22 so of course its going to need a bigger exhalation.
Thanks for the help guys. I also heard there was clearance issues with the apex WS. Anyone scraping? my car is not too low but I have K-sports so Ive got them lowered some for optimal handling.
