Default D series rubber or b series rubber

lol just need a simple answer

swapping a gsr into a 97 hatch. tranny mounts, do i need to buy b series rubber or will the si brackets work with my stock d series rubber?

and if its not too much trouble..... do i HAVE TO even use the drivers side tranny mount? it looks to me like the passenger side mount would be fine but help if you can

Im not entirley sure on this, they may both be the same for D and B. I recently called up Inlinefour to find out about replacemnt moutns for a D series motor, and they told me to get their B series, cause they were the same thing. Not entirely sure on all that tho, maybe someone else can clarify.

you need b- series motor mounts, if thats what you are asking.

I would reccomend using all 5 motor+tranny mounts. not safe without them. are u missing a mount or something?

im not missing a stock mount i just dont have the b series tranny mount, i can get the passenger side one at my job for less than $70 with the rubber but the drivers side one is twice as much. ive heard of people not using either tranny mount so i am leaning toward just using the passenger side mount and bracket.

well thanks for the lack of input. im going to help people out here who are doing a b18c1 swap into an ek. You only have to replace the tranny mopunt brackets not the actual rubber mounts. I went and wasted my money on the rubber, only like $40 i think. you cannot use the rubber from a b16 tranny mount, it does not work with other ek's unless you want to cut pieces out of your frame.
