I just bought this Flowmaster Exhaust for my DX Hatchback. I thought that it was the same pipe diameter as stock but it wasn't. The Flowmaster is 2".
Is there anyway I can mate these two flanges up at the axle without some custom fabrication? Or will I have to take it to a muffler shop?

Nope... the bolts are rusted up as hell so if I'm gonna work on it... I want to bang it out in one shot hopefully without any hiccups. I hope someone my have some experience to share.

I was expecting a straight up bolt-up... So are you saying I will need a reducer to be welded on?

Discount/Advanced Autoparts and Autozone (both general autoparts stores in SE US) carry standard size reducers in some fashion or another. If you got a chain store like that in your area check out their exhaust section and see if they have anything like you're looking for to do a reduction in diameter.
