alright so when im getting on the car hard, VTEC kicks in 1st and 2nd gear...when i get into third gear, VTEC stops and the CEL comes on...i turn the car off and turn back on while riding and CEL goes away and i have VTEC....

when i am in fourth and drop it down to third and start to get on it, VTEC kicks in and stays throughout 4th....im thinkin that it will probably go out in 5th but havent tried yet.....

Anyone know what the problem could be???
I'm thinkin maybe a bad ground for the vtec, i will see tomorrow though...

that happend to me too. i have no clue how to fix it.

 

have you gotten it fixed yet....i have checked the ground wire and it is good....everything is wired up...dont know what it is.....throwing out code 22 which is VTEC pressure valve i think....anyone know what to do???
