Default About 20-30 trq and whp loss on bone stock jdm itr in 1900lbs eg cx hatch?

About 20-30 trq and whp loss on bone stock jdm itr in 1900lbs eg cx hatch? first 2 weeks i had car been running so good i ran 8.5 on 1/8 mile on poor 2.0 60ft. i told myself not going back to lsv or b20v for a long time. buddy that sold me car said im just getting used to the power" and that he did a new timing belt and water pump and spark plugs. so ill i did was a change oil,(moble1 10w-30 full synthec) since then the power and drive-ability loss no smoke or sputters no sign on motor externally. what do you guys think about the hp and trq loss?

pull the valve cover and check the timming belt ,

timming gun depending on how good it is may not show a big difference , espically if its the exaust cam thats skipped (not connected to the distibutor )

do a compression test and check the timing at the crank/cams not distributor.

big loss of power through entire rpm range. red lines a little slower with no pull just noise. believe me last week when we would get on it, we would almost have to hold on to something.. ill do compression test today..

get rid of that moble1 10w-30 full synthec and put your old oil back in. that ought to bring back your 20-30 hp.

compression test results. cylinders 1-2-3 are at 180 and cylinder 4 is at 200 psi.
when motor was running strong last week im pretty sure they were all over 225psi.

did you do a compression check when you first got it. did you check to make sure you did every thing right. could be something as simple as bad gas,ive had it happen.whens the last time its had a good tune up ,have you look at the spark plugs to see if its lean or rich. lots of possibilitys. take it to the track and see if you run the same times
