you can use the stock T/B if you want or send it to a good machine shop and have them bore it out.

i'm sure they do but for about half that price you can have your stock T/B bored out and it will do the exact same thing.........

I have the same problem ... but mine is from a warped Intake Manifold .... water came through the intake manifold into the #1 cylinder ... rebuilt the engine ... but the #1 intake runner is slightly warped so it doesnt but up perfect against the OEM intake manifold gasket ...

to test yours for the same type of leak ... get a little WD40 ... have a friend rev the engine ... and spray it near the gasket ... if there is a leak .. it will suck the WD40 right in .. shut the car off ... and either double up the gasket ... or get a new intake manifold (:

could be the Throttle screw too ... adjust it and see if it makes a differece... ummm lets see as for the Throttle body ... LS throttle body is 58mm you can get a brand new Holley 62mm or 68mm throttle body for like $360 3 diff colors ... and sell your old one on EBay ... check the intake manifold specs to see how big a TB it can take without getting it machined
