so after like a 20 mile drive home my light comes on about 5 miles from home, its been pouring all day so i dunno if the water fucked something up but i jumped the ecu and im getting 4 long blinks and 3 short ones after. i know its gotta be a combo of codes unless its cel 43 which is fuel supply system. if its that then what would that mean? car ran fine all the way home

You had it right.

Sounds like your car thinks it's running too lean or too rich and has tried everything it can and can't do anything about it. And has handed the reins to you.

 

probably explains why i have horrible gas mileage. i think im going to have to bring this ******* thing to a shop. i checked all my injectors, just replaced the FPR, and fuel filter and i dunno what the deal is. any suggestions on things to check first?

 

Change the sprak plugs and or make sure they are gapped correctly.

Change the o2 sensors.

I didn't have a CEL, and I replaced my o2 sensors and got 34 on the highway instead of 28

 

word, yea i just replaced plugs and wires and dizzy cap so i guess i'll do the o2. how much do those go for?
