Default Did LS/VTEC conversion and now low compression on all cylinders..

Bent the valves on the stock LS head after revving too high at the track, so I swapped on a GSR head with G.E. Vtec conversion kit(head gasket generously coated with copper spray), ARP studs, GSR water pump/timing belt, and ITR oil pump. After a day or 2 the engine started running rough so I did a compression test and got 130-140 psi on all 4 cylinders. I bought the head used so I might have gotten scammed on a shitty GSR head. Any ideas what can cause low compression on all cylinders? Also I found some weird white stuff on the out side of the sleeves where the water flows through.. Not sure what the hell that is.. Any ideas?

i had similar problems with my b16 and they told me that it was time to tear it apart and build it again. Do a leak down and see where your leaking compression. in my case it was my rings.

Block hasn't been resurfaced.. I really hope it doesn't need to be. I just got the haed back from the machine shop today.. They did a few pressure tests on it which all came back excellent, however they said the head was warped 1/8000th, so I had them deck it. Hopefully this will fix the problem.

Are you sure that it wasn't slightly off on timing causing valves to open to early and not allowing full compression?

point, if you're going to build it right. you must get it check out, Keep in mind that that's not a steel block. it's aluminum, it's just almost as bad as the head when it comes down to warpage.
