Default backfires

i'm getting the occasional small backfire when i let off the throttle.

should i just have my car towed to the local scrapheap now?

think new sparkplugs would help?

not really....maybe a small amount out of the header (cause of my custom two O2 sensor setup, one of the sensors hits the block and gets bent when we torque down the header)

No reason to scrap a car over a backfire.

I lived with a backfire for months before a teardown/rebuild. I had a leak in the bottom of my header where the rear brace/bracket is.

I don't know exactly what causes it, because I never fixed mine. I kinda thought it sounded neat...
