transmission fluid change
I got a crx with a b18a1 motor. I cant get my fill plug loose and there is barely any room to get to it. All i can get to it is with a wrech. I been spraying pb blaster on it since last night. I read that there is another place to fill the tranny up at. Can someone help me out. Is it the speedometer cable?
yes, if you pull out the vss aka speed sensor it believe its only a 10mm bolt holding it down. then u have to pull out thhe speedo cable, but make sure you pull the little clip off under the rubber boot or the cable wont come out.. pm me if needed
Hey guys,
I have a 1991 honda crx with a auto trans, it has about 196k on the trans, recently got it and it shifts a little hard sometimes. I have been toying with the idea of changing the trans fluid. It doesnt look dark or anything but i dont know how the fluid was kept up in the past. Should i or should i not change it? I have read that if its that old changing it may do more harm then good. Please help.
Thanks!!

Changing it can only do good.
I have a honda crv that threw a tansmission code for a pressure sensor.
I figured I might as well try the fluid and it worked.
Just use the correct fluid
