have a gas leak? fuel vapor in cabin? read
i've been having a nasty fuel smell inside my car for a couple months now, i checked everwhere couldn't see anything leaking. so today i decided to remove the drivers side rear paneling to get a look at the fill tube. if you look at the tube it will probably look mint like new because the portion you're seeing is never exposed to the elements. now remove the filler tube flange grommet that goes to the tank(its like 4 10mm bolts) look underneath wah lah! rusty *** vapor tube and filler neck. this is probably common on our cars as they're gettin older......downside is this tuber is like $92 from honda better replace that and the rubber hose that connects it to the gas tank. pics up tomorrow
first start by removing this

pull it up a bit it won't come all the way off because the fill pipe restricts its removal. take a look underneath, do you see what i see?

a closer look confirms
