Fuel Filler Neck
The fuel filler neck on my 1993 Civic seems to be leaking a bit when I have the tank full. I just noticed it recently. Anyways, it took a look at it, and it's rusted up some and so on. I sprayed a sealer over it, and haven't noticed problems since. However, I may still buy a new neck and put it on myself. Just wondering if any of you have had experience with changing the fuel filler neck and how easy it is. I can get to it easily by taking off the rear wheel, just don't know how hard it is to disconnect it from the fender, etc. Any info is very much appreciated!

Re: Fuel Filler Neck (Clairvoyant)
Actually, never done it on a Civic before, but on the average car, removal from the quater is normally easy, it is normally just held up with a screw or bolt. However, most of the ones that I have had to replace, I have had to also lower the tank to get it correctly installed, or in same cases drop the tank completely.

I had a look at how it hooks up to the tank. There's a small rubber hose section that the pipe connects onto at the end of it that goes to the tank. So I believe nothing has to be done with the tank.
