Default timing belt question

I have a mugen timing belt, and Im pretty sure it was blue when I bought it. Well Im going on a 3 hour drive this weekend to hot rod week with like 8 friends (big caravan of V8's and me haha), so I did all the maintenance, oil change, rotate tires, etc...Took off timing belt cover and the belt is all black now. Like heat maybe took the color off. The teeth and belt look ok to me, but Im just wondering if this is normal?

Do you see any visable cracks in the belt? Maybe a tooth or 2 missing? If not, I wouldn't be to worried about it.

no i looked around as much as the belt as I could, felt some teeth with my hand...the belt itself looks fine. I was just kinda worried because I coulda sworn it was blue like 4 weeks ago still when I had the valve cover off.

They're colored to distinguish them before installation.

Tensioner + heat wore off the color. You're fine.

The color comes off after some time.

Did I sell you my greddy timing belt??

I'm pretty sure mugen doesn't make blue timing belts, or even timing belts for that matter.

The only blue ones I can think of are Power Enterprise and Greddy.
