Press brake pedal and the horn blows
I had an alarm on my car but since i took it out the brake pedal activates the horn. even with the relay removed but not the fuse. horn sounds like **** when you press the steering wheel button but very clear when you press the pedal. I tried every thing that i could think of and i am very experienced with these cars. For a quick fix i jumped the hot ignition wire with the hot wire on the pedal switch and that makes it only do it when the car isn't running. Also, does anyone know where i can find a complete wiring diagram and not that **** in those chilton\haynes.

you have a short to power somewhere. id say trace the wires for your brake light switch, they may be touching your horn wire somewhere up the line.. take a peek, when u hit the horn button, do the brake lights come on? more that likley u have the 2 hot wires for each circuit touching each other at a bare spot.
Sorry its been a while but i've been busy with finals. I tought that too but if that was the case then the brake lights would still work. If the horn blows when you press the pedal then the break lights don't work. So with the wire jumped the light work but since there isn't any power with the ign off the horn blows and the lights don't come on. The brake lights and the horn are on the same circuit but i can't find the break in the wire b\c the wiring diagrams that i can find don't even have the horns in them nor the wirning for the switches. and why is it that the only time the brake lights work is when i jump the wire thats directly on the switch.
