J1 cable tranny problem..HELP!

J1 cable tranny problem..HELP!
Gears go in while the car is off.....when it turns on and in neutral.....the gears dont go in with the clutch engaged 
.......changed the tranny....new clutch..flywheel..TO bearing..and linkage........when the car is off and put it in first or reverse then turn it on...the car will go like if there was no problem...put it in neutral then the same problem...they wont go in....HELP!
