Default What motor mount will work?

I did a h22a4 swap into my 92 prelude and I have the front mount, driver and passenger mounts bolted up nicely but the bracket that sticks off of the h22a4 block does not match up right with the prelude rear engine mount. It is way off! like a couple inches!

When I drive the car it is way shaky, and the motor shifts in the bay ALOT!

When I drive and say im in gear and just let off the gas it like thuds the motor back hard, then starts slowing down

Does anybody know what mount I am going to need to make this work?

Maybe one off of an accord or something? Or do I need to swap a crossmember or something?

Or am I gonna need to use the rear bracket off of the h23?

If your looking for stiffer engine mounts, go on ebay and buy Prelude Energy suspension motor mount inserts

They are only 40 bucks shipped and the best thing you can get for preludes for wheel hop, and the engine moving to much in he bay.

yea thats what I was thinking, do you think those motor mount inserts will compensate for the missing rear mount?

no the inserts are for the front and rear mounts. how did you come across the rear bracket/mount? did they come with the engine or did you have them before the swap?

I kept the rear mount from my 92 prelude on the car itself, the bracket that is bolted to the block is from the 01 prelude. Are the brackets different from the 4th and 5th gen?

Or is the bracket mounted somewhere elso on the h23 block? Please help asap thanks!

I would try to put the 92 entire rear bracket onto the H22. Inserts won't do crap for you, you need that mount.......now

sorry to thread jack, but i'm also wondering, are all prelude motor mounts interchangeable while the engine is in the car (with simple jack positioning beneath the engine) or is there a mount that requires the engine be fully removed to change?

The rear is a bitch with the intake manifold on still, but none of them require the engine to be removed.

Ok I will try to use the h23 mount and bracket and tell you if it works, but does anyone know what will work for sure?

WTF?
