Well I just took my gsr transmission to the shop to gave the 4.7 final drive kit and ITR lsd installed aswell as replace any thing else that is messed up since it was already at the shop. Well they have to replace 2nd & 3rd gear and the syncros, bearings and sliders. Well they got all the parts except 3rd gear they couldnt get it or it would take like a long time to get the gear in. I found that gearspeed can get it for me and I was wondering if it would be worth getting the ITR 3rd gear for the main and counter shaft instead of replacing it with the gsr 3rd gear. Also what gear ratio would be good for a street/strip allmotor car. Looking for help, info and advice so i can go in the right direction. Thanks

Look up the ratios and decide for yourself. Ratio changes have been covered TONS on here before, and elsewhere. There are some online calculators too. Google and the big red search link in the upper right are your friends.
