hey guys i have a 00 ex with a D16Y8, about 2 days ago my car completly gave up on me, first it was a ok clickin noise comin out of the head, and was plannin to tighten the rockers n the valves cuz i came to a conclusion thats what was makin the clickin noise...

now that clicking noise has become a knock took, a stephoscope (yes i spelled that wrong) n it looks like its coming from the number 4 cylinder ( the one nearest to the belt?) so in a day or 2 im going to take off the head n tighten the valves n the info i came across is that i need to tighten them down to .08 to .12 of an inch so is this right info?

also check the bottom end of the engine no abnormal bulges or leak so i think the piston n rods are fine, had a friend double check my diagonsis n said that i was ryt, so if any one can give me some help or advice will b much appreciated, thanks in advance
