Default PS problem with b18b swap-Need Help ASAP!! UPDATED!

this swap is giving me a headache. I got a 95 EX coupe and putting a 98 b18b in it. I got the motor in and everything, i fixed my throttle cable situation. NOW...the P/S is a PITA. The d16 PS wont line up the b18 PS pump, the LS PS line wont fit into the d16 PS rack, the d16 PS pump wont work on the LS motor....
SO WTF am I to do???

I really dont want PS and these write-ups i've searched for have pro and con opinions

I'm really just thinking about going with this write up cause I need my car ASAP!!!
Someone in the thread mention something about the fittings and sizing! What size is the right size for the thread and which fitting to get, cuz it seemed like that wasnt the right fitting.

You are the first person, that ive seen, say the obd1 civic line will not fit the b18 pump... It fits...
But ok, you dont want ps anyway, so forget it.

Go ahead and loop the lines...
The rack fittings are M14x1.5 and M16x1.5
I know they sell barbs that size, but I have never seen them personally.
Padawan sells an awesome kit for what you want to do though.

i need to take a pic...i probably wont be able to get a pic up until 2mrw evening. the d16 looks like it may fit, its just that the hole on the b18b's pump is larger than that of the d16s pump, and the b18s P/S line running down to the steering rack wont line up right because of the bends in the line.

sounds like you have an em1 pump

You ALWAYS want to use the chassis hose - your problem is the pump

yeah the integra's hole is bigger than my d16. i'll try to post pumps model no. when i get back. i have another problem too, i stripped the fitting while trying to get it out of the steering rack....that **** was hard to get out so i had to use vise grips. I sprayed the mess outta that thing too. i used a 14mm line wrench and thats what stripped it. POS!! i dont have anymore money for a P/S, i guess i'ma try and loop the lines.

so should the obd1 teg's P/S pump line up with the mount AND the d16s line??? give me the best option? if i do have the EM1 pump, i more than likely have the line.

Well, you can always cut the very top of the harnline off, remove the fitting, replace and re-double flare it (same as brake lines)...

From what people told me when I had ps issues, all integra pumps and obd1 civics were the same fitting - hence my post from that compiled data.
Look at the pictures in that thread to decide what you have.
If you do decide to keep/fix the p/s issue, go about buying a pump that fits your line.
Again:
**You ALWAYS want to use the chassis hose**
Just match the pump fitting to that, coinciding with the engine youre using

loop the p/s line fitting and the 17mm?? fitting together, or should i just plug em off? I should just plug off the smaller fitting right? im debating on trying to find the right pump or looping. i bought the car w/o the P/S belt on. I guess the car was ran like that for about 2 1/2 years. The car still turns fine w/o the PS tho. I'm just worried about sooner OR later if it could lead to a nasty wreck or something if the rack locks up.

NOTE: Since i cant re-edit the pics
The 12mm goes to the reservoir, the 17mm goes to the oil cooler, and the 14mm goes to the pump.

your captions arent matching up

It should be:
obd1 civic/dc integra --- obd2 civic

The line on the left should have been what came off the chassis, right?
Neither pump you have there is obd1 style
Both, are obd2 civic, according to their fittings
(which means, if it bolts to the b series mounts, its probably from an em1)

You have a 3 port rack there:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1187999
I have no idea which port does which...nor am I one to say which you should plug.
Try pm'ing padawan, he may know which.
Also, if you loop the rack you need to get a specialty hose - one that comes looped 180* because a straight line will kink

on the right is what came on the b18b's motor. its was already bolted on str8 from the junker. they pulled the motor out as is...and yeah on the left is what came off of chassis. i found which port does which according to the service manual i downloaded. i edited in my note, dont go by the pic's labels.

i think ima try looping for right now. but how i should loop it IDK?!?!

thats up to you, if you want to spend the money
you can always sell the other pump as an em1, since that flange will fit ek's with a b swap
i do suggest, that if youre going to buy another pump, you verify that the flange type is what you need

did you read the thread i just posted?
it lists which ports you are to loop
