FUSE? STARTER? BATTERY?
So last summer my starter went out. It would click a few times, then POP( like I blew a fuse) and all the electrical would be dead. I would then find someone to jump me and it would start up fine. So I put a rebuilt starter in and that fixed the problem untuil now.
Now I go to start the car. Turn the key all the electrical comes on.
Then turn to 3rd position and it pops, like I blew a fuse.(no click) I then need to find someone to jump me. The car then drives fine, but last night I noticed that when I flipped the high beams on, the speedometer drops then cathes right away. Its as if flipping the high beams drains the battery for just a split second. Really weird.....any help will be greatly appreciated.

What do mean mean by "it pops". An actual popping sound? If so, from where? BTW, if a fuse pops, it's dead.
I suggest you check your battery cables at the battery terminals and at the other ends, chasis ground and at the starter. Make sure everything is clean and tight and that corrosion hasn't worn those thick cables down to just a few strands. Also, get the battery load tested to make sure it's up to the task.

Sounds like it's more of a starter problem. I've had similar case with my Jeep starter. The mechanic says I should replace it and so I did. It had not troubled since...
