Front camber kit for 6th gen...OBX
I've heard mixed reviews on OBX products. Some say they are good, some say they're bad, etc. etc. My question here is on their front camber kit for the 98-02 Accords. I need a camber kit since I've gone through almost 3 sets of tires now. Ouch. Was wondering if anyone's had experience with the OBX kits or not. Yea, it's cheap but if there isn't much difference in that and the Ingall's, then might as well save a little bit of money at least.

You're not killing tires from your camber, dude. Did the guy at Discount Tire tell you that

Toe is what wears tires quickly, not camber. Get your toe aligned and forget about it...unless you're dropped some rediculously low amount like 4" (might need a camber kit then).
I would imagine an OBX camber kit would last about 5 days anyway (if it fit right).

i would definately not go with OBX when it comes to a camber kit. from hearing the mixed reviews and how some of their products are a hit and a miss, you dont want to put your suspension in their hands. go with a well known reputable company like ingalls so your camber kits will not break or crack in turn causing you injury and car repairs.

Yea. Some people say the new OBX stuff is good. But i bought an OBX header for my SER and it was the worst quality header ive ever seen.. It cracked within a week, and the car wasnt even on the road!!

To be honest, I don't know how low the drop is....but it is dumped in the front. It just clears the wheel well and that's it. What do you think now...camber kit or toe?

If your wheels are visibly tilted and it's obvious, then I would get a camber kit.
You still need to get the toe aligned to keep the tires from wearing down.

See, the front AND the back are visibly tilted. Except the rear tires have absolutely no abnormal wear at all. And the fronts start to wear on the inside down to the damn metal and then bald. So if aligning the toe will fix it, then I'm not really worried about the visual aspect.

Yeah, in that case just have the toe aligned on the front and leave it at that. When the toe is off it causes the tire to 'slide' across the ground instead of rolling and that's what eats up your rubber...

So even though it will still be tilted inwards, it won't cause it to wear down to the metal like I'm having now? Because the rear doesn't wear down or anything, so.....
you should go and get your toe aligned first and then have them get you the print out. on there you can see how bad your camber is on each tire. if its about .5 degrees or lower then your fine but if its higher i suggest you get a camber kit. my front was dropped 1.75in and i had really bad camber. my front was cambering 2.8 degrees on one side and 2.5 on the other.
