Why wont my header fit? wrong one?
I got a header for free from a friend, he told me it would fit a b16. When i got my old one off and sat them side by side for comparison, the new header was considerably shorter. The top by the exhaust ports is a perfect match however.
What do i need to make this fit? it is about 8 inches from touching the cat.

Yep..
Yep..
they dont fit, the pipes are like a few millimeters off...
It looks like ill have to extend the exhaust, although i would rather keep everything fitting like oem...
So thats for a GSR?

use the bottom half of your stock manifold.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Unless it's something like the old Spoon top section that was designed to bolt up to the OEM bottom half of the manifold, it almost definitely won't fit. It's pretty clear from the photos that the flanges are positioned at different angles, so that's not really a viable option.
jadugartir, I really wouldn't bother going through the effort or expense of modifying the header or the exhaust in order to install it. It doesn't appear to be anything special, so it would be far easier to simply sell it and pick up an inexpensive replacement if that's indeed what you're looking for.

That's about as incorrect as it gets.
'94-'99 GS-R manifolds are shorter than other B-series.
'00-'01 GS-R, '94+ LS/GS/RS, '97+ USDM ITR, and '99-'00 Si are all the same length.

wow this thread has gotten completely off topic ... hes got his answer to his question, i would just let him be now and he can make his own decision
thats a 94-99 gsr header, no o2 bungs in it. i replaced my 94 gsr header with a ls/itr length one

if you find a 94-99 gsr cat, it should be close to bolting up stock like
</TD></TR></TABLE>
All of the '94+ USDM Integra cats are the same length (roughly 17.5" - 17.75"). The differences are in the lengths of the exhaust manifolds and the B-pipes.
