i pulled my engine the other day and i forgot to unplug the resistor box wire that run to the injectors. so as a result they snapped. so today i was going to soder them back but there are 4 red wires with black strips and 1 thats yellow. does it matter how i soder the red ones or will it be a problem. or will i have to wait til i put the engine back in and do trial and error.
chris, you're gonna have to figure out which was which and solder them back in order. You may be able to tell from the way they broke, but if you can't, you can follow the wires up from the ecu and then back from the injectors and figure out which is which.

yea but how will i tell from were they broke on the harness..what will happen if i just soder them back without checking it..bc even running them from the ecu to the point were they broke i still cant tell which are which from the other side of the break. does that make sense.
you can pull up a diagram of how the wires go into and come out of the resistor box, figure out which is 1,2,3,4 and then follow the wires from the injectors to where they broke to figure out 1,2,3 and 4 and then match them up.
An ohmmeter would do you a lot of good, you could just test resistance across the wire to figure out where it came from.

the wires going from the injectors to the resistor box don't matter.
So just wire each red/black wire to a red/black wire you broke. and then wire the yellow to the yellow.
They don't have a specific order.
