low dipping idle
hey guys i recently did a valve adjustment to stock spec, as well as replacing my fuel filter. i also installed the mugen thermo and fan switch. the problem is that now my car runs really rich from cold start to warm up. i check my sparkplugs they are pure black as well as my wideband indicating. my car idles fine at cold when it starts warming up a bit the idle drops, i'd say less than 500rpm. when i give it alittle gas at neutral the car dips all the way to mayb 100-200 rpm and it dies out. when it dies it, it takes time to fire back up. my question is would the mugen thermo/fan causing this problem? or can i adjust anything on my emanage to compensate with the rich area? someone told me it could be my valve adjustment? what outcome would help me indicate that its really my valve adjustment causing this low idle, dipping issue?
I had a low idle that would dip. I never bothered with the trying to look for the hard stuff. Just took a flathead turned it left and adjusted the idle. All is good.
i followed up on how to adjust the idle, i have turn left or right but theres no adjustment at all. i turned left to the point the screw is about to pop out lol

First, open that idle adjustment screw untill your car starts idle bouncing. than you need to disconnect your IACV(car will idle bounce even more fuked up). Shut car off, disconnect battery, and wait untill resetted (or pull clock fuse i hear??). Reconnect battery and start car. Turn idle adjustment screw untill car idles to around 500 rpm or a touch higher. Shut car off and reconnect IACV. When you restart it, it should idle around 700 with IACV reconnected ( i think thats how you manually set your idle )
