Default clutch hydraulic system issues

I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions that would prevent me from having to pull the tranny... its a B18C in an 00 EJ8 with ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate, street disc, streetlite 12.9 lb flywheel.

Swapped in December and ran problem free for 4-5 months. Two weeks ago, I had trouble shifting into gear, and one day later could not do so at all. The clutch slave cylinder took a dump on me, so I replaced both clutch master and slave this weekend, bled the line, and adjusted my clutch pedal. Everything worked perfectly all of yesterday.

I tried to go to work this morning and I once again could not get it into gear. If I started the car while in gear, it would roll forward, indicative that the clutch wasn't fully disengaged. I checked the reservoir and it's still full. Any suggestions?

Also, and this is somewhat related... I have a squeak coming from the transmission area when the clutch pedal isn't engaged. It stops once I touch the pedal. At first I thought it was the throwout bearing, but I'm wondering why it would be squeaking if the pedal was all the way out since it shouldn't be engaged at all. When everything was installed, I had to adjust the clutch master bracket on my clutch pedal so it was basically all the way out for it to disengage the clutch. Is there any point on that adjustment that could engage the clutch master without pushing the pedal in?

Try adjusting your clutch again, if it is not going in gear. If you push you clutch all the way to the floor and it gets hard near the floor it might be working properly. If it is easy to push in all the way to the floor then you might want to bleed you clutch again. It sounds like the throwout bearing is going bad and the squeaking noise is most likely your throwout bearing.

The clutch pedal is adjusted as far out as it can go, so any more and that little bracket would unscrew off the pushrod on the master cylinder... the pedal feels hard to push the entire way and not mushy at all. It was driving just fine yesterday, but in fact, it felt harder this morning. My theory is that the bearing is binding and isn't aligning properly with the pressure plate so the clutch isn't fully disengaging.

Damn POS replacement throwout bearing from ACT... I have an OEM to replace it but I'm not looking forward to dropping the tranny...

almost sounds like the fork came away from the throwout bearing... can you get the car into neutral at all?

If I start in neutral, can't get it into gear. If I start in gear, hard as hell getting it out of gear. Gotta hold the brakes on the latter though, otherwise I start rolling as I mentioned.

Looks like I know what I'm doing this weekend...

Oh yea, still wondering about this question I had. Is it possible?

My friend has a 5 speed 94 dsm, that had the same problem, so he put in a new master and slave cylinder, no change, after the car was parked, we were lookin at it and discovered that the tranny was missing 2 bolts and one of the ears on the engine block had busted off so there was a 1/4 inch gap between the engine and tranny, that turned out to be the problem, so, id take a close look at the way ur tranny is lined up and all ur bolts are tight, i know, dsm right, but it might be ur problem. good luck w/ it anyway

I'd be willing to bet that my transmission is still bolted to the block, but that would definitely be a problem in the case of your friend!

Oh Honda gods... dost thou haveth an answer to my inquiry? I'm really just wondering if it's possible to retain positive pressure on the clutch hydraulic system if the clutch master bracket/pedal was adjusted all the way out. No one knows??
