Default i reallly need help on this please!!!!

so i have tomorrow and teusday to decide this.

i have a zc non-vtec motor in my car right now.

my freind has a zc vtec car that he's getting rid of and he said i oculd have parts.

so the thing i need to know everything i will need to do a vtec conversion on my car.

i know i need the solenoid and the ecu, but idk wat else i need.

and i was also wondering, if i put in the vtec ecu without installing the vtec solenoid, how will the car react?

the head, you cant bolt the solenoid to a non-v head, also you need a t-belt, and head gasket from the donor motor, if you just take the ecu and plug it into your harness it will throw a CEL

will that happen even after i put the vtec head on and everything else, or will i have to change the wiring harness?

ok thanks for your help.

but just to make sure i got it all, all i do is unbolt the head, and switch it over to my car, because attached to the head it the vtec solenoid (and the intake manifold, which im also exchanging cuz the one i have on it right now is really small), bolt it back down connect the timing belt, and plug in the ecu. and that should do it?

Need complete head. You don't need the timing belt since yours is already a 1.6 zc, but not a bad idea for a good tune up. Change the head gasket too. You need a vtec ecu and wire the vtec. Thats is pretty much sum it up.
