Default What do u need for v-tec?

Sorry guys im kinda new to these honda's...haha..i have a 88 Crx sitting outside with a ZC swap NON V-TEC...i was wondering if i could just throw on a v-tec head and the solenoid...?? but im not too sure wat i need for v-tec...or just to put it simple what do i have to do to have v-tec?

is it a sohc zc or dohc?

why not just leave it non vtec? not sure if that is possible....but if so u will need ecu, head, head gasket, distributor, wire harness modification or run solenoid straight into ecu....sounds like alot man better off buying a d16z6 motor and swapping the pistons fom that zc into it and make way more power
