quick speed to rpm ratio question

Default quick speed to rpm ratio question

im running 16" wheels with a y1 tranny. does 70-75 mph at 4k rpms sound about right?

Seriously now, you could grab a product like this http://www.blackrobotics.com/ calibrate with a GPS or mile markers on the freeway and have it down without guessing!

Without knowing how high of a sidewall you have, I can tell you that with the same transmission and stock 14's my tach at 60 is around 3100, so 70-75? at 4k? hmm seems a bit high. I'm going out, let me check that at 70.

Your indicated speed is going to be the same regardless of what your tire size is or how fast you're actually travelling.
