88 crx si b20b swap, no spark,fuel :-(
i tried starting up my car today. i been workin on this swap a little at a time in my free time.
when i tried to start it it cranked over but it didn't start. so i checked to see if it had spark and fuel but it didn't have either. is there a fuse for the pump or a relay somewhere. and what are the possible reasons that it wouldn't have spark. is tere some way to test the dizzy?
heres my setup for now:
97 b20b
?? ls intake
obd1 injectors
88 si harness
90 da ecu
90 da dizzy

well i got the car started, it was ... THE GROUND FOR THE HARNESS !!! DOH!!!!!
I feel like an *** for letting that one get by me. so after i grounded the harness i got the car started but it wouldn't rev past 2500 rpm's so i changed the broken tps and after i reset the ecu (unplugged the battery) it revs like a motha!! so today i cut my da linkage shorter and welded it up. so all i have to do now is extend the exhaust to reach the header and do my hydro convertion.
as for the hydro convertion, does any body have any pointers on how to go about doing it?
i'm doing a full hydro convertion not that hasport or innovative stuff, i can't justify the price of those things and i feel that full hydro is better than cable to hydro. its just seems simpler and less of a chance for something to break (as in the cable)
i remember reading on some thread here about this guy that did this convertion to his crx, i wish i could find that thread maybe he can give me some advice.

mmm b20 fun... your going to love it... and on the hydro conversion i hate the innovative conversion... i have that with a stage 1 clutch and it feels like a full race clutch... post up if you get it to work with a full conversion.
no doubt, i probably put up a vid or 2 also.
if your interested check out my page but i haven't updated it in a while.
i'll update it when the car is running.

well i got it almost done, i did all the wiring connected the exhaust, redid the shift linkage and now all i have to do is the hydro conversion and weld a bung for the o2 sensor. it runs good and the check engine light doesn't come on !!! i called off work today to finish this, it WILL be done today!!!!
