Default car will not go below 2k while moving. Soon as you stop it drops back down to normal idle.

Once I go over like 5mph while driving u can feel it kick in .. The car won't go below 2k until I stop the car.. then it just drops right back down to 1k where it is supposed to be at. This just started happening .. seems like something electrical to me but I haven't messed with anything.

the motor is an obd-0 d16y8

Cleaning the IACV did nothing. Would Changing the FITV or IACV change anything? Which one is more likely to be causing the problem?

i have a 97 integra and i also just started having this problem. I also cleaned my IACV and that didn't do anything. My next step is to clean the FITV. Bump for a decisive answer to this problem!

Is your ecu stock? Mine isn't. Im on a obd1 ecu tuned on crome. Under crome's "edit advanced table" there is a compensation for "idle speed (moving) vs ECT. I am going to try to retune using this compensation and see what happens then...

I cleaned the FITV valve, and turned the little white plastic thing inside of it with a screw driver a few times. That took care of the problem. . Don't forget to refill your coolant after you clean the valves lol.
