Huge Noise from my Bridgestone Potenza S-03s
The noise/roar from these tires convinced my I had a bad wheel bearing. It's super evident at 60-80mph.
I re-mounted my snow tires to see if they were quieter, and sure enough, the snow's are super quiet. I mounted the S03s back up and the roar came right back.
Is anyone else experiencing this? It's driving me crazy.

i just got 4 brand new bf goodrich g-force sports on my rsx about a week ago..and i can hear something of a humming or zinging nature..and i too thought it was a wheel bearing but then i said it might just be the new tires running across the pavement?..anyone can input or correct me?..if it is a bad wheel bearing i want to get that fixed a.s.a.p.
Yes, the tires are mounted to rotate correctly. Dunno. It's purty annoying.
I also noticed my last set of Yoko Ecsta's got loud as they wore. Maybe something about the big tread blocks, and lack of sound deadening materials in the 02 RSX S?

If they're really loud something else may be off. my s-03's where on the quieter side compared to azenis, es100's, and s-02's.
do you have rear seats and interior?

Yeah, full interior. It was most noticable when I went from full snow tires to the summer tires. I re-mounted the snow tires to make sure I wasn't losing my mind.
It seriously sounds like I have a bad bearing with the Summer tires, but it sounds quiet and fine with the snow tires.
Note: I actually did replace the driver bearing last week because I was convinced it was a bearing. Replacing the bearing did nothing to reduce the noise.

Stock rims on the summer tires. Aftermarket for the snows. I'm using original spec tire sizes. I don't think anything's rubbing on the tires. It's not that kind of noise.
Kind of like a RRrrrrrRRRRrrrrRRRRrrrrRRRRRrrrr noise, like a bad bearing.
I may just be a wuss
