Default ek side skirts hatch/coupe different?

ok guys i bought a set of ek side skirts here a few months ago and finally got my car painted and was putting it all back together and my side skirts are like a half inch too short. i knew there was a difference between the hatch's and coupes in the eg's, but i thought i remember reading somewhere that on the ek's it didn't make a difference. i searched and couldn't really find an answer cuz there's so many post under "ek side skirts" and most of them are "will these fit on my eg/ef" and "wtb's" and "for sales" any info will be much appreciated.

Thanks

The '96-'00 coupe and hatch sideskirts are exactly the same. In fact, the black unpainted ones all even have the same part number.

ok that is what i thought, but mine are short. what about the four doors? one would think that the 4 doors would be longer, but heck ya never know. i guess i'll go play w/ em one more time to make sure i'm not crazy.

no these definitely haven't been cut, unless someone did one hell of a job splicing back together.

What about 5th gen sideskirts? They're about wo inches or so shorter than 6th gen sideskirts.

The 6G sedans should still be the same length, though they do have a different part number. I have heard they all fit though, so I'm not sure why they have a different part number other than that sometimes Honda does that (assigns different part numbers to parts which appear to be the same thing).

ok fellas just in case anyone wants to know, the reason my skirts wouldn't fit correctly on my car is because they're off a 4-door. so for the time being we had to notch them to fit the 2 door. the lengths are the same, but the top part of the skirt is flat and straight across on the 4 doors and the 2 door/hatch side skirts art flat on top till the door runs out then the cut out to fit under the 1/4 panel. just a bit of information to anyone who cares. thanks for everyone's input
