Default B16A VTEC Not Pulling Hard

I have a obd1 B16A in my eg and it doens't seem like its pulling hard anymore. I took off my dc header then put it back on. And thats when it seems like it stopped pulling hard. I could feel the difference. Anybody got any ideas?

Need a lot more info that that. Are there any check engine lights? Is the car still crossing over? So on and so forth.

Not to mention, over time everything feels slower so it may just be you. My car feels like a stock VX to me after a while.

Ya its still crossing over at 5800. Im using a p30. I'm throwing a 23 knock sensor code. And I was before that too. But it w as sudden feeling of being slower. Last night I lost to a z6 hatch by 3 when I used to pull him by 5 without issue. So I'm lost.

Doubt it for some reason. Cause there is now way that all of a sudden a full second just seemed to disappear from my car.

Timing, Spark, Fuel, Intake, could be any of those things, clogged cat.

just go through the checklist.

also compression test your motor.

did you put your o2 sencer back on when you put your header back on?that wont matter at wide WOT but i forget to do it sometimes.

how did you torque your header on?if you didnt go from the midle out you could have an exhaust leake messing with your flow.

It was just a sudden thing. I didnt go from the middle out. I didnt know you were supposed to di it that way. I will compression check tomorrow. What could be wrong with the intake? And i didnt change the timing. And ive been getting the knock sensor code ever sice i went from a p28 to a p30

I would definately start by getting a knock sensor in there and get rid of your CEL.

Other than that like said check plugs and some other maintenance items.
