HELP?!?! What should I do with a K20Z1 short block?
I have a 1997 Civic EX (EK Chasis). I am a mechanic at an acura dealer. One day I was walking by the parts dept. and saw that they were throwing away a motor. As I got closer I saw that it was a K20Z1 out of a 05 RSX Type-S. I couldent watch them just trash it because warranty dident want it back so I took it. Now I could build the hell out of this motor and swap it into my already paid off civic, or I could sell it and use the money to pay off some debt, and maybe get a newer car some day. Someone please tell me if it is worth dumping money into this motor or should I just sell it. And weather or not its worth the swap because I know there is a **** load of work envoled, and money. Please anyone give me some input. Thanks.
keep it dude and build on it. you'll love yourself in the end. K is the way to be. If you have ungoddly amounts of debt then sell it and get closer to paying bills off but if not then keep it and build on it. it would be worth it if you kept it in the end those motors are powerful.
