Default jdm b16a problem

since this morning the cars been having a problem, i sounds like it cud be misfiring

when idiling it sounds like a v8 *put put put put* and shakes the car as it idles and when i drive it sounds like a go cart *putputputputputputput* and its very very slow now, shaking the car alot as it goes... maybe one of the spark plugs are purged, or bad

*i have to replace the head gasket 2morow because the car slightly burns oil all of the sudden but i dont think that has anything to do with my new problem

the motor has about 50,000 miles so its upsetting it has problems...

anyone have any suggestions as to what it may be, what i can/should do to fix this problem?

thanks

I'd check your spark plugs first. Move from cheapest solution up.

"Potato potato potato" is a sure sign of misfire on at least one cylinder.

I'd replace my entire fuel and ignition system before I even considered a bent valve or sized piston.

not black, more of a bluish gray, but not the blue youd see in real bad cases, looks like your regular smoke

could be the head gasket, you could have blown it. Sounds like exactly what my car just did.

Except he'd be blowing white smoke, most likely.

it cud be white, im pretty sure it is, my friend said blueish but i didnt see it at all

i ordered a radiator about a week and a half ago and its finally coming 2morow, thing is that the fan on it didnt work and it wud over heat if i sat in one place for too long of a time, but it wud stay cool while i was rolling, but i do believe that during that week or 2 period of ove rheating must have warped the head gasket (which i will be replacing 2morow) but would that really make it misfire and everything? i wudnt think so, another thing, i think the rubber seal around the first spark plug was missing when i put the vlave cover on a longg time ago, therefore filling the spark plug hole with oil so i never removed the spark plug so that the oil wudnt go inside where it plugs in, but i think the oil around it heated up when the motor heated up and maybe cracked the porcelin in it, all in all, ill just have to see for myslef 2morow morning

radiators in as you can see

i pulled out the first spark plug and it was crunked, bridged itself and was ruined, totally purged with oil, picking up the valve cover gasket 2morow, puttin in new plugs and wires, doing an oil change, and she shud be unning like brand new, hopefully all in all its not the head gasket
