The best sounding exhaust I've ever heard was a turbo wastegate.

The muffler was silent. All you could hear was the turbo.

That's what honda's should sound like

^^ Or any piping and a good flowing OEM exuast, Gsr, ITR, rsx-s, s2000 muffler.

Junkyards give mufflers away practically.

Best sounding so far is my friends Ej1 with a Mugen test pipe, acts like a resonator, Greddy Evo Midpiping, and a real Spoon N1 axleback. All you hear is a low end, no high end rips, farts or pops, just deep and low. Its amazing.

Exhaust sound is defined majorly by whether or not you have a CAT or not, beleive it or not, it makes a large difference with vs without it, no matter what exhaust you have. Ive heard totaly stock exhausts with gutted cats make a louder buzz and drone to themself.
