Default Replacing doors? (trim issues...window issues....)

After looking at the horrible trim on my door I tried to search OEM honda whole salers for the part i need to replace...the more I looked, the more I couldn't see if its actually a part or actually a peice of the entire door...

Door trim pic #1:

as you can see the trim piece is almost all ripped off and the chrome is now almost all showing. I can't even seem to find if this is something I can replace since I can't find the part in OEM part store schematics.

Roof Trim pic #1:

Can't find this top trim either to replace. Is it something I can find at http://www.bkhondparts.com (or another site you guys prefer?)

Rear window trim #1:

Another seemingly easy part to find, that I can't see to...Just looking for the oem trim part around the rear windows.

1 Last thing, I have 3-4 verticle scratches up my driver's side window from when I first bought the car. Before replacing the window, in your opinion do you think it was human caused, or maybe bushings on the wheel parts inside the door that are missing or scratching the window? When I roll the window all the way down, towards the very end it shakes and rumbles to a stop.

I appreciate any insight and I have hunted a long while through OEM part drawings trying to find these pieces...I'm not sure if theres a trick or I'm looking in the wrong section of the car. I appreciate any help, and thanks a lot!

Went to honda dealer ship about 3 months ago, and they quoted me a rough 1000$ to replace all weather stripping.

Anyone know if the wrecked parts above can be ordered/replaced?

*bump

according to the helms...
you have to remove the glass on the doors before you can unclip the molding

Part #'s 5 and 6 = I do not think that you can replace only the trim.

the roof trim pieces and the door glass weather seal can be sanded, primed and painted then cleared. the quarter glass trim is not going to be a easy thing to find , paint or replace.

hehehe.. honda dealer charge you $56 dollars if you buy one of those trim on the door. I got mine from junk yard and looks good now. If you get one to your door, get the rubber coated cuz they last long, I got mine from 01 base. The 99 SH I got was peeling cuz I don;t now what type of material was that but Im sure that wasn't a rubber on the top of the chrome. They are really easy to install on the door only take 30 mins.

Only thing you have to unscrew is the power mirror and you have to start from that point and pull the crap. those clips are hard..

So, the rear quarter-glass windows don't come with the rubber stripping from honda?

ie) http://www.hondaautomotivepart...GLASS

5 & 6 is just glass, no rubber stripping around the edge?

How exactly do junkyards work? Don't laugh, we all had a first-time at a junkyard.

But what is the process you go through to get something from a junkyard?

my first time at the junkyard was actually 2 days ago haha, but some are pick and pull where they let you go in and find your parts on your own(cheaper and more fun) or some you have to tell them waht you need and they'll get the parts. but most likely you will save money

I know it sounds ghetto, but I actually used black vinyl to cover all the spots you are talking about replacing, and it looks good, very hard to notice even close,I did the rain ducts on top,and the door sils that turn to chrome.

First I used black tape and my friend who does vinyl laughed at me and hooked me up w some of his heavy duty vinyl he uses for sign/stickers,I hooked it up like that.

"So, the rear quarter-glass windows don't come with the rubber stripping from honda?"

I just had all my stripping replaced when my car went to a body shop(except for the quarter-glass stripping). I was told the stripping for the rear quarter-glass window is attached to the glass, so essentially it's one piece.

I had the "rails" on my roof repainted and cleared, but within a year's time they started to chip again. Since my car is black, I'm planning to have them repainted with a black, self etching primer that shouldn't flake off. I'm not going to worry about the clear though, it'll just flake off again. They're obviously problem areas.

yeah its kinda molded around the window on both sides, it doesn't come off. I just replaced the two windows on mine but that was a bitch to get the old windows out.
