Default B20/Vtec 1/4 times

I am going to be going to the track soon with my b20/vtec + turbo.. I was wondering what some of you have pulled for times? and what boost levels.

My setup is a built b20/vtec + turbo w/ 5.5psi (no hondata yet) w/ b16 tranny... Usin liams -40% AFC Hack.. (although -25% on my car.. b20 is thirsty)

Just curious to see what other ppl are pullin..

late

should be fast meng. figure mark ran 13.9 with full interior, tools in the trunk, on 54psi in the tires. The onyl thing as u said... traction gonna be a prob. BTW. for the afc hack with the t-25 on my car, would i have to set it a bit richer down low since the turbo will spool so quick?

The honda Computer should take care of it, since will just be increasing the map value faster. But thats what tuning is for.. a -40% is just a ballpark figure to get you in a range will it will work, run pretty safely. Its your part to try to tune it to what it feels good to you. No pinging noises.. etc..

Interesting. My car will see the track sometime soon. Traction is a big issue for me now with the B20. I'll have VTEC in the future when I get more money.

Neuspeed race springs/Koni yellows, no slicks yet gonna try to pickup some 22x8 MT's, car weighs a buttload.. my guess is about 2600-2700 w/ driver (carpoint says 2400 + bigger engine and turbo crap..)

I am pretty sure i could run atleast a mid-13. It pulls hard as hell.. when it ever hooks up ) I am plannin on droppin the exhaust off before the track too.

I built the motor before i put it in, Endyn pistons/rods all new bearings etc.. I dont ususally take it above about 7200 or so. (dont need to it has soo much power) But i have hitten 9000 a few times. It rev's really hard when ya hit vtec, still have the b16 cams.

I love racing cars on the freeway and you dont even have to downshift. 5th

Don't lean on the highway or you will blow your motor. Happened to my stock motor. Built motor is ready to be dropped in just waiting on a bigger turbo!

Ya i have done alot of tuning to get it to run right and not lean on the highway. But i have to say the b20 is crazy.. soo much torque. (Also kinda sounds like a semi for some reason) hehehe

contrats on the motor. good luck! they are quite the money pit huh?
