Default How To Mount Non-Hubcentric Wheel Spacer?

So I got my T1R 5mm wheel spacers today. Unfortunately, they are not hubcentric. They have a 70.5mm centerbore where the prelude is 64mm.

How can I install these properly? I was thinking of just sticking some small pieces of tape behind the wheel spacer just enough to hold them in place on the hub while I mount the rim. Is this a bad idea?

Normally, the holes will only let you have them in one spot, I have some that are non-hubcentric and they stay in place pretty well, just got them off ebay...

The T1R's are universal and there is no right or wrong way to install these.

It's just that they don't sit perfect on the hub and I'm worried about vibrations if not installed just right.

Any ill effects if I put small pieces of tape between the wheel spacer and hub?

No, tape isn't going to hurt anything.

Thats odd, the way mine are cut, the studs hold them in the center almost perfectly.

I'll check them again to see if the bolt hole patterns differ.
