Default caliper rebuilding

Well i have done this before on other cars however the kit came with two packets of goo that i have no idea what to use it on. Has anyone done this on a honda using the honda oem rebuild kit ?

I believe the goo is for greasing up the slider pins

They need to be lubed well. Make sure the boots aren't cracked.

One packet is for the caliper pins, the other is for the piston seal. Don't try to install the pistons dry, you'll tear up the seals. I've rebuilt 2 sets of Prelude calipers and a set of Legend GS calipers without any issues.

oook that makes sense...i usually used some brake fluid on the piston but if they gave it to me im sure theres a reason for it

I had to replace the boots/seals in rear prelude calipers a few months ago and let me tell you... that was probably the most pain in th *** thing ive done in a long time... I ended up buying Autozone rebuilt calipers.. if anyone else has done them they know what i'm talking about..

well this is for the front which are alot easier.

There are two packets one is pink and the other orange which do i use for which ?

Ok the pink one is for the dust cover, the orange is for the pins and the clear is for i guess the square cut seal ? And then use brake fluid on the piston itself i guess ??
