port matching isnt all that difficult... if you have an air compressor, and a die grinder and the proper bits for it.. making both sides of the head and the manifolds to port match is an easy task using the gasket as a guide for both sides. Efficiency is the key to making power, and having both sides intake and exhaust flow will result in HP

The guys over at Bob Forrest did an awesome job with it, i mean they mesh perfectly on the hot and cold side..but i dont really notice a difference..i was expecting at lease, to see a drop in egt..but its still about the same..

I'm not sure why you would have expected lower EGTs, I mean I suppose if the air didn't have to roll over that edge it would be slightly cooler but that would be a minute difference.

I would be more hesitant to spending that kinda money on stuff you're not *sure* is going to do anything for you in the future. I would feel kinda ripped off too, though you can't blame it on them, they did the job as instructed.

EGT's has more to do with tuning rather mechanical tuning.. the increase in flow can only help in the long run, and over all efficiency of the motor.. most likely in the upper end of the RPM band.

yea i was just expecting the same results as on my supra and 240...but whatever, my egt dropped by almost 50 degrees on my supra and about the same on my 240. I kinda feel gypped but now at least I get to add something else to my bling list. i wont know what kind of actual difference it made until i get it on the dyno again.
