Default Are these numbers close? dyno results

Finally finished the build after a year of dragging my feet. I took it to the dyno this weekend and expected to see 250ish range. First pull and the car made 341hp/253tq. It creeped to 9.5psi but i think the numbers are a "little" off. I questioned the dyno operator about the numbers and he claimed they had the dyno calibrated to read close to other dynos. My question is, are these numbers possible for this setup? Also it is a munstang dyno
heres the setup:
gsr stock bore
eagle rods
wisco 9:1
supertech springs/retainers
stock head and cams
skunk 2 intake port matched to 68mm skunk tb
precision 650 intercooler
1000cc precision injectors
rc autoworks ramhorn
38mm tial gate
tial bov
2.5 inch intercooler piping
3" dp to 3" kteller exhaust with magnaflow muffler
garrett t3/t04e 57 trim .63 ar

street tuned on chrome on the 7lb gate spring

run it at the track and find out, dyno is a tool used for tuning, the numbers are just to tell your friends about

sounds a little high to me for the turbo and boost pressure you are running, like mentioned above, take it to the track and that will tell you alot more, but make sure you let us know how it did!

i agree, what should the car trap at this hp? car last year with me in it was 2660, i've sinced removed the rest of the ac, rear seats and stereo, airbags and srs module so i'm hoping to be around 2580 now

Those Skank9 Pro-series intakes are much better than the early ones, on NA cars they carry torque up top very well. I wouldn't say they are ideal for boost but they *are* better than stock which includes the old ITR based units. The big TB, ram horn, etc mean the setup flows really well. Can you post up your dyno sheet? I'll bet the torque isn't falling off up top which is why the power is so high while the torque is about right.

That said I'd agree that 341 seems a bit high - it is high for a Mustang, but the owner admitted to fiddling it's calibration - but 320-ish isn't unreasonable. Regardless, sounds like it runs strong.

i'm sure his torque isn't falling off up top due to the fact that he's creeping to 9.5psi.
It also depends on the tune. Is it conservative? is it agressive because the tuner know's the engine is mild-built? etc etc.
i've never had mine on a mustang. But one 10 psi. I made 350whp and 240tq I believe. I'm on completely stock, so I understand my high"er" numbers. But my torque drops off because I'm not creeping.

I think the numbers arent that off maybe 10whp but not much more... i made 363whp@ 10.5psi (57trim) on a Bone Stock GSr on E85 on a Dynojet... now its kinda comparing apples to oranges there but figured id throw that out there

As far as trap id say @ 2580 you should be trapping 118-119mph... i do 119@2615lbs...

I made 360whp on a dynojet on 10psi with a 60trim so I believe those numbers. I also was using a ramhorn with a victorX intake manifold but a stock ls TB. Mine also made 425whp on 15psi pump gas (see sig). My setup made higher than average power and yours is another one of those!

Vickie-X IM is known good for ~40 whp increase on a 300-350 whp Honda. Which makes your numbers about right and this guy's a little high.

To the OP Like others have said take it to the track and see what it traps!

If this was AED's dyno its calibrated to read way high for a mustang dyno.

Yah, like I said I figure 300-320 which is STILL way healthy for a streetcar.

The track might be or might not be proof for this vehicle, though. Most people can't drive. Hell, I drive like a little girl. Sad but true.

its revolution auto dyno the place they just built out by VMP, I felt like the numbers were off but the track will let us know. Matt I'll give you a call in a couple of weeks so we can tune this jewel on high boost. Things are kinda hectic we just welcomed our new baby girl Ava into the world on friday morning at 6 am, so the car is on the back burner. If the numbers are close hopefully it should'nt be hard to hit my 400hp goal!!!!!!

back from the dead, finally got a chance to run the car and lets just say the traps dont lie. The car was 2600 with me in it. I had crappy 60 ft time but it trapped consistant 110-111 mph. Best time was 12.73@110.12 so i'm guessing the car is in the 275ish whp. What do you guys think, and i know i need seat time!!!!!
60' 2.037
330 5.442
1/8 8.269@88.16mph
1000 10.676
1/4 12.737@110.12
