i have a b20b block and a b16 head. the b16 timing belt does not fit. what type of timing belt should i use and also what kind of water pump do i use.

 

any b20 or b18 will do. good luck on it, coz u might forgot alot more stuff if u can forgot timing belt is different length.

 

yup yup i just went thru it on my car i swap my car with a b20 vtec and there to many thing u need

what is the different between that 2 timing belt? is the tooth of the belt are different, then the cam timing would be off too.

 

Get a b16 waterpump and gsr timingbelt for a crvtec.

 

if your going b20v... get a GSR timing belt, GSR Water Pump, GSR Oil Pump

there is no difference between gsr, b16, or itr water pumps. and all 96+ b series oil pumps are the same thing.
