DIY - Rear Sub-Frame Brace
Well I thought I would document the progress of design for a rear sub-frame brace.

I have pre-liminary locations for the LCA Bolts, and the Sway Bar mounting locations. Next step is to cut a part and check fitment on the car. I will post more info and more drawings as dimensions are considered more accurate.

You may remember discussion about this DIY from this thread, which was a DIY for sway bar braces

Curious to know why you need those 4 blank spaces or the horizontal beam? If you don't have those 4 spaces empty, wouldn't that help on strength of the whole frame?
holy $h!t, resurection from the grave. I havent posted anything about this for a year!
Yes, I have been running this on my civic now for the last year, and the part is awsome.
I made it out of 1" thick aluminum, and the 1/2" thick brace is more than stiff enough. I also love the fact that my rear sway (19 mm) is located off my sub frame brace (no more worries). If you want to know that abuse I put it through, I Rallycross about 1 a month, and have also done 1 autocross, and 1 track day at Miller Motor Sports park. I also drive this car 70 round trip to work and back. It is holding up beautifully!
If you want one, I can make one for about $160...let me know!
Wow, back from the archives!

Those spaces have been removed from the acutal brace. If you want to check the actual brace thread (finished product) go here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2139492
And yes it has been tested, read earlier in the thread.
